Riya Joseph, MD, earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Texas Tech Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso in 2015. She then relocated to Houston, where she completed both her internship and residency at the Methodist Hospital System Internal Medicine Residency program in 2018. Bilingual in English and Malayalam, Dr. Joseph joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified internist in January 2026. As a primary care physician for adults, she provides preventive medicine, such as well checks and immunizations, along with care for acute conditions like fever, flu, nausea and vomiting, and more. She also manages chronic medical conditions like hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, COPD, asthma, and more.
